Home made. I've never seen the point in giving commercially produced, highly processed food to a baby. When weaning they eat so little, its much more practical to give them a bit of whatever everyone else eats. Home made tastes of real food, you know exactly whats gone into it and its more sociable.

I did homemade as its massively cheaper & I had the time. It also meant I could make suitable portion sizes. The few times I've given DD ready made stuff the portions were far to big & a lot got wasted.

Homemade. Commercial food all has the same texture/colour and is not at all appealing to me or my LO. I use it only as a last resort while out occasionally or mix with other home cooked food.

We've seemed to have given a lot of commercial food. We started weaning with the purées and just didn't really stop. Baby is now 12 months. It's so easy! We always mix it with our leftovers from the night before but just add flavour and variety with baby food pouches. It's expensive but very easy.

Home made. Much less waste, and I know what he's getting. Also we're doing baby-led weaning, so he really just has bits of what we're having. I don't want him to get used to processed food.
