Dropping the final bottle...

So the DS is 18mo and we are finally down to just one bottle of milk in the morning. He wakes up at about 6:30 and by the time I've finished giving it to him it's time to get up anyway (for me, he gets another half hours sleep.) he has a proper breakfast at crèche at about 8am.

Anyhow he eats plenty and drinks from a sippy cup throughout the rest of the day, I'm convinced the morning bottle is just habit.

Can anyone give me some tips on the easiest strategy for finally becoming free of the bottle?

Put it in a cup instead? They still need about 12oz a day until 2.

Yeah, we tried that a couple of times . Still sending him to bed with a sippy cup, I think it's the 'I want my fifteen minute cuddle as I'm going to tell until I get it' thing we're trying to bring to an end Smile
