Salad bars + BLW

Hi everyone

Alfie is doing fantastically with BLW. He's eaten loads of different things (Aitch, have some photos to upload this week if you want one for your blog??)

Anyway, you know how you can't have salad bar stuff when you're pg, can yougive it to babies or does the same thing apply about food poisoning??? I'm going to Pizza Hut to meet a friend on Friday (oh so classy LOL!) and wondered if Alfie can have the stuff off the salad bar or not???

Thanks

Hmmmm...probably best not. I just get a feeling that one could find something better on the menu than sneeze laden blue cheese dressing and shonky iceberg lettuce

take him some grissini maybe to get with the Italina (esque) theme

Never heard of this about salad bars - who says pg women shouldnt use them.

hmmm, i probably wouldn't... but then i'm a bit fussy about lettuce full stop unless i've washed it myself. (must stop reading books about food production).
when we go to an italian dd does well with pasta and bread and i take some cheese and veggies for her in a tub. this also has the added advantage of being quite clean so her clothes don't get filthy.
send the photos to the email address on the blog (click on Aitch) and i'll be delighted to put them up for you.
