mesh bag for baby to suck fruit through - any good?

Just seen on Jojomamanbebe wedsite a mesh bag you put fruit or veg in that baby can chew on with no risk of choking. Has anyone got one? Is it any good or just another gimmick?

i bought a couple on ebay america for about 10 bucks including postage and then promptly forgot to use them. we're doing blw and i just don't think we've needed them. i gave them to someone else who found the same.

I saw these when DS2 was a baby and thought they were hysterical.
