Suspect ingredients in packet food?

If some foods are supposed to be introduced later i.e. after 6 months, 9months or even 12 months, how come the boxes of dried, powdered baby foods seem to include all sorts of ingredients straight away from 4 months?

Because baby food manufacturers are arses and their customers are often ill-informed.

As for "from 4m"

I agree entirely about the 'As for "from 4m '.

But aren't some of those ingredients not even supposed to be introduced at 6 months. Sunday lunch just sounds all wrong, and I thought cheese was a no no too ?.

, this weaning thing is very confusing.
