BabyDragon has decided that actually she would quite like to be spoonfed banana porridge thankyouverymuch.

On a completely unrelated topic, if you add too much banana to porridge pancakes, they don't set firm enough for finger food...

But they make great cement...

SoupDragon · 03/10/2006 15:54

Noooo, because they never set

I normally find that those things never set in the way I want, but if they are seperated enough (the way only a small child can)... they stick like hell

hub2dee · 04/10/2006 08:25

Have you used the assistance of a refridgerator in your setting attempts ? Alternatively, erm, why not use a little less banana ?

Anyway, I'd give the little dragon what they want or she'll torch the place.

SoupDragon · 04/10/2006 11:34

Yes, I put them in the fridge overnight to no avail. Still, they reconstitute nicely into porridge with the addition of hot water

As I shoved the banana in I thought "I wonder if this is too much..." still, if you don't try you won't find out. The ones I did with (much less) apple in set nicely.

As an aside, this morning she decided that she "didn't^ want to be spoonfed banana porridge thankyouverymuch and no way would she be opening her mouth to have any spooned in. Contrary little Dragon.

aaah, she's turning into Flamechick (or would she be a batlet now??) - the joys you have in store for you....

SoupDragon · 04/10/2006 11:39

TBH, I've realised what the future holds already - she's been contrary and the opposite of the boys since the day she was born

Do the boys take after their dad then, soupy ? LOL

SoupDragon · 04/10/2006 12:30

Erm... well my mum always said that I was the "worst" baby compared to my 2 older brothers...
