Multigrain toast for 7 month old

I'm doing finger foods only with dd who is 7 months old this week (she refuses anything from a spoon). So quick question- is multigrain toast ok or should she not be having seeds at this stage?

Both of mine had multigrain bread and survived. We did blw and they both ate exactly the same as us. A bit messy when they ate spag bol or chilli with their hands but nothing that a change of top and a wipe down didn't solve.

I was more worried about choking tbh. Also, the fibre can be too filling for small tummies so maybe stick to white

Thanks for quick replies- she's here beside me munching on my toast crusts and the seeds don't seem to bother her but will keep some plain bread in the freezer for her too just in case. Is it just in my head that they can't have anything with seeds before they are 1?

Seeds are fine, it's whole nuts you need to avoid. While it's still small amounts like crusts from you I wouldn't worry about fibre content, but when it's sandwiches etc then white bread is better to start with.

My 6 month old chews away on my triple seeded bread fine :)

the only problem with seeds is that they can be accidentally inhaled into the airways and cause problems.
