DS is 6.5 months, going well on veggies, fruit and cereals. I want him to get a more savoury taste. Is it OK to start having a little bit of meat in purees now?

i would steer clear of red meat for a while yet

fish like lemon sole (soft bones, if any at all) and chicken are ok in small doses to start with

just my opinion tho

Hi

Would suggest going for chicken and cod initially (cod fillet) very mild taste and fish is great for their little brains!!! Once used to chicken (easy to digest) then go on to red meats (beef & lamb) but in small quantities initially. good luck

meat ... according to these lovely people can be given any age after weaning begins.

Now.

Go for it.

Both my DSs enjoyed chewing on a big hunk of beef at this age.
