honey cheerios

is it ok to give my 8month old ds honey cheerios ?
he usually has the normal ones as a snack (no milk just on the highchair) but the lovely online shopping subsituted the regular with honey ones

I'd imagine the sugar content is a problem, rather than the honey.

no I wouldn't as honey isn't advised under 1 year even if it is in a processed product (plus they will be incredibly sweet)

ah thanks i didn't actually think of the sweetness of them silly i no .
do the original cereal have a lot of sugar in them too ?
I'm at a loss of snacks provide him with as he is getting a real sweet tooth due to his love of fruit ansi thought cereal would be better if you have any other ideas ??
