8 month old - fitting in bottles and meals?

DS2 is almost 8 months old and an enthusiastic eater. He has been mix fed but I now want to move completely to bottles.

I'm just wondering how people fit 4 bottles and 3 meals into a day? Especially as we have to be out for DS1's school runs. Do you do milk first or food first, or together, or how much of a gap in between?

I've heard bottle 1 hour before food, but think this is flexible.

At that age we did something like this...

7am bottle
8am breakfast
9.30-10.15 nap
10.30am bottle
12.15pm lunch
1- 2.15 nap
2.30pm bottle
5pm dinner
7pm bottle and bed

It did feel like I spent a lot of the day feeding her! We've dropped the 10.30am bottle now which makes things a bit easier. Id often give the bottle when out and about.

Thanks for your replies. DS is currently having a night feed still so I'm going to try to get everything in during the day and see if we can drop it.

Think we are going to aim for something like
6.30am - bottle
8am - breakfast
9am - nap
10.30 - bottle
12pm - lunch
1pm - nap
2.30pm - bottle
5pm - dinner
6.30pm - bottle
