gassy baby - are there any foods to avoid?

I need some advice please...

ds is one, a great eater generally and yet recently, really quite gassy (some burps, mainly farts - though he's always suffered a bit). He struggles to find a comfortable position to sleep, both for naps and at night, and I really feel for him.

What foods could we try avoiding to help him out? He's just at the stage of wanting finger foods only, so have been trying to work on things like rissoles but he doesn't like food that squishes too much - well he does, but it's then a plaything rather than food (even after play it never makes it to his mouth).

Atm he's eating things like...

Sweet potato fries, Cauliflower cheese, rissoles, bagel & cream cheese, quite a lot of fruit, rice cakes/biscuits, veg mixes (generally resort to putting this on v thin toast), yoghurts, potato cheese & beans. He doesn't really like egg yet.

What do you think?

If he's having a lot of fruit, beans and cauliflower it could be an issues, but I can't see any one culprit.

If he likes finger foods could you try things like salmon burgers, cheese straws with some hummus to cream cheese to dip into, blueberry pancakes for breakfast or pizza.

Just had another thought, if he's been windy for a long time, has he been checked for tongue tie?

I think he was checked, but it was a long time back. I'd no idea it could be a symptom?

Have a read of the symptoms on the link above. My DS has tt and upper lip tie and he was a windy baby.
