Dropping a milk feed

My 11 month old DD has 4 milk feeds a day (around 6-7oz in the morning, 4-5oz mid morning, 5-6oz mid afternoon and 6-7oz before bed). These feeds can vary in terms of how much she has but the above is pretty accurate.

I keep reading that by 1 she should have dropped 1-2 feeds but I just don't see this happening.

Thoughts?

you could drop one and give a snack and drink of water in its place

You know your dd best. If you think she still needs the milk and you are happy for her to have it then let her. You will probably find that she starts drinking less of her mid morning and mid afternoon feeds soon and they will naturally be dropped without any drama

Are you giving her bottles or cups? If you switch the day time feeds to cups you might find she loses interest.

when my ds started nursery they dropped morning feed and gave her toast and water to fit in with everyone else and I continued this at home. I dont always give toast just a lil snack and water
