I have been giving dd baby yoghurt for about a week, but read yesterday that you are not supposed to give yoghurt until much later. Should I stop? Especially as it is one of the few things she takes from a spoon - whilst helping to hold the spoon herself. Otherwise she only eats fingerfoods, eg pear, banana, avocado, fish flakes, potato, cauliflower etc.

my dd is 7months and has been having fromage frais for a few weeks now. don't think i'm supposed to, but hasn't done her any harm so far.

yoghurt is fine from 6 months if you have no history of dairy intolerance. Small amounts of cows milk in foods, cooking and with cereal is also fine from 6 months as long as you give main milk feeds as formula/breastmilk.
