blw 3 weeks early.

Ds is 23 weeks old, he has been sitting up for a couple of weeks, up and down everynight for weeks, and is tring to get food out of our hand and plates.
Me and dh have decided (after speaking to a bf counciler) that it is time to start solids. I would like to do blw, but unsure what he can have.

can he have-
porrage
coconut
bread
rice
pasta

of course you're right, but it's amazing how much power they think they have, isn't it? really, who are they to tell us how we must do things? but then i haven't seen my HV for months now... she's not even that bad, tbh, just not hugely bright so can't actually think new information through.

Eating a banana with ds sat on my knee, he got very giddy, grabbed it with both hand and in his mouth, looked like a little monkey.
It was like a bite for me then a suck for Harry, so cute.

hi,ive been reading threads about blw cos i wanted to know what it wasas im finding my 10 month old a challenge after easily weaning 3 others the old-school way(shovel baby rice into them at 3/4 months).i wanted to have a look at ur blog but when i went there via the link on this thread it said its 'on hold' ?

i know, i only just found out about this tonight! apparently we have exceeded our bandwidth, would have been nice of them to send me an email to warn me, huh?

i could change, but the thing is at the moment if you type in baby led weaning to google we are something like 6th in the listings, so if i moved i'd have to start again. plus i'm not really good at all the techie stuff, it's really my sister's area, she's the geek in the family. i'll phone them tomorrow, it shouldn't be a problem just to switch it back on again... i hope.
