BLW - balanced meal?

I've been doing blw and it's going great, but I'm really unsure about the proportions of food types I should be giving her.

I'll give her veg and chicken etc which she will happily eat, but not masses, but will wolf down bread, a whole plum or loads of grapes and can't get enough of natural yoghut.

Can a 6mo get too much fruit?

Also, how soon is it ok to be giving 3 meals a day. She's already dropped a milk feed as giving breakfast, and the mini 5pm feed has gone too now she's getting a bit of lunch/dinner.

At 6 months the guidelines say to offer solids roughly an hour after a feed. You don't have to offer foods every day even at 6 months and you should be working to 3 meals a day between 8 and 9 months.

Don't know on the fruit front sorry but thought you might find this information on kellymom useful Smile

Thanks, 3 meals after 8 months is great. We're on two meals a day and giving after milk, but sometimes more than an hour after.

Didn't think of looking at kellymom, thanks.
