Have been BLW for past 6 weeks and I think we are doing ok but I'm not sure.

DD will happily have cucumber, pineapple, ham, toast, crackers though at the moment think these are hurting her gums ?? peaches, tried some sausage today and other bits but others have me worried she is not eating enough.

I think my family think I am starving her as she is not having purées like my other 2 did and my mum has actually gone to the shop and got her se pouches on fruit and a dinner type one.
Should I worry ? She doesn't seem to eat loads but will try different bits. She has had 4 tops teeth come through in 3 weeks so I think this may have bothered her a bit and she has been getting quite frustrated at meal times.

I BLW both mine from 6 months. They are now 6 and 2. Sounds like you are doing just fine. It takes longer for the baby to get up to eating full meals and dropping milk with BLW than puree feeding, but the baby is doing what they want.

As long as your daughter is not losing loads of weight or is crying with hunger, just carry on.

My 2 year old when he was this age and blw was still tasting, chewing and playing with the food. Same with my 7m old now. They don't really swallow much until later. Just offer milk on demand.
