The easiest way - offer what you eat

Start with softer/ easier to gum food and work up

So if you have porridge/ toast/ egg or whatever for breakfast, let baby try a bit. You can give her a bit off a spoon or give her to hold and feed herself if something holdable

Easy foods to take out and offer are banana, avocado, and strips of anything like bread/ chicken/ cheese so baby can hold one end and suck/ gum/ chew the other

Things like yogurt/ porridge etc you an spoon or offer spoon to her and see gradual if she attempt to feed self

No honey before 1
No added salt

what age is your child and are you talking about introducing solids foods? Are you planning on introducing purees only or BLW (all finger foods) or a mix of the two?

Above all else....try not to worry about it, there never was a child that didn't learn to eat. Ds took aaages to get the hang of it but is unstoppable now at 4.

We did some purées, some finger food, some of what we eat.

They will eat yoghurt with their hands. You wouldn't think it possible but it is.

Mash banana to begin with to break up ?something? they find hard to digest.
