What do you mix with cereals if EBF?

We're looking at starting weaning in a few weeks and will probably do a mix of purees and BLW but just wondering what you mix with things like porridge if you are EBF? I do express but can only get a couple of ounces at one go. Do you use formula or breast milk or what? Thanks in advance. Smile

Just full fat cows milk. It's fine from 6 months in food, not as a drink. No way was I faffing about expressing for her to throw soggy shredded wheat on the floor...

Cows milk. Once weaning starts babies are no longer ebf.

I've just made up some baby rice for the first time tonight. I used about 20mls of bm.

Baby is 5.5 months, so will move onto cows milk in a couple of weeks when I can't express as much as she needs.

Agree with the others. Full fat cows milk is fine in cooking and on cereal from 6 months, so things like rice pudding, fish pie, cauliflower cheese and pancakes are all fine too Smile

Tbh I've just been using semi as that's what we have in. It's just a splash.
