weaning off the breast at age 1

my son is 9 months old he is ebf but has 3 meals a day aswell he still feeds on demand several times a day and sometimes at night when he is 1 i intend to well hope to stop breastfeeding i breastfed my other children till they where 2 but it was very hard stopping them so i am asking how i can gently wean him off bf when he is 1 years old any suggestions great also my other 2 children refused cows milk

My pfb is only 6 months but you had no replies so I'd suggest expressing and offering bm in a cup occasionally in addition to usual feeds so he gets used to milk not from you.

You can then try to offer main milk feeds in a cup.
