don't think I did at 9mo. Fairly soon after though.

It is a bit salty, so you don't want too much of it per day.

otoh, so is bread

gave it to both my kids from 6 months - teeny teeny bit on hot buttered toast - son still loves it now and he is 7 - aware very salty, but also full of B vitamins......only use miniscule amount ...yummy ..might have some toast and marmite myself now...

I was reading some marmire article, and it said that the salty taste is in fact from yeast fermentation and not salt at all.
I havent given it to my one year old twins yet, but they'll eat anything so I bet they'd love it
