Preferably something quick and easy to prepare and that he can maybe eat himself. DS had tomato and pasta for lunch. Thanks!

Not got a 7 month old any more but have you tried things like omelette? Smile

TooFly · 20/08/2014 21:20

Pancakes?

cheese on toast?

Mrsgrumble · 20/08/2014 21:37

I made things like lentil ragu (for spoon feeding)

Omelettes too

Cheese chunks and fruit

Bread and banana

Thanks for the tips! Tried him with eggy bread in the end followed by avocado. He loved it. I've mostly been batch cooking stuff ( like lentil soup or cauliflower cheese) but that means he ends up getting the same thing on consecutive days which I'm sure he'll get bored of.

Do you eat with him? Could he have what you are having? If you are batch cooking, could you freeze some?

A slice of lamb (which she'll just suck and gnaw), roast potato, carrot and green beans
