How much milk does your 7 month old drink??

I've cut my dd1 milk back a bit since weaning but she absolutely loves her bottle still. Here is our feeding routine

7/7.30am 6oz bottle
8.30/9. Breakfast, porridge or wetabix
11/11.30. 5oz bottle
1-1.30. Lunch yogurt/fruit
3.30 5oz bottle
6pm dinner
8pm 7oz bottle then bed where she sleeps through til morning.

Should I start to cut one of these bottles out or not?? Just wondered how many oz in a day a 7 month old should have??

The minimum until she's one should be 20 floz with a recommended 2 meals a day until she's between 8 and 9 months, so I'd leave it as it is at the moment. It doesn't matter if she eats food yet, but it does matter if she doesn't get enough milk Smile

There's some more info on the nhs websiteSmile

Ds2 just turned 7mo.

7-7.30 - 7oz bottle
8-8.30 - breakfast
11.00 - 7oz bottle
12.00 - lunch
3pm - 7oz bottle
4.30 - dinner
6.30-7 - 7oz bottle

So 28ozs milk daily, plus three small meals (usually fruit/veg/toast/yogurt of some description).

Think he'll naturally drop one of his daytime bottles soon, like ds1 did.

My 9mo is still on about 35oz a day Blush. We're doing BLW (she won't eat from a spoon at all) so she's barely actually swallowing any food. I'm just taking her lead on it to be honest.

her amounts sound fine to me. My ds only dropped to 4 bottles at 8 months when he gave up his night feed. He was down to 3 feeds at 9 months and 2 feeds at 11 months
