dd not content with just milk needs soilds help

my dd is months old and is always feeding more so at night, dd is around 14 lbs now and i just want to know whether or not to give dd some rice or rusk any idea's please thanks

the only thing is that when she's like this she is so hard to confort to get to sleep. what's best to help that? also what's the norm for naps durin the day?
