Fussy eater...

DS is 13 months and is starting to become quite a fussy eater. he's suddenly decided that carrots are evil and won't eat ANYTHING if he spots a carrot on his tray. Similarly, most other veg are off the menu. He loves fruit in the form of fruit pots or dried fruit, but won't tollerate the real thing other than banana.

Anyway, he's virtually living off yogurt, dried apricots & raisins (scary nappies!) oatcakes and bread. He doesn't drink any milk so the lack of calcium always bother me a bit.

Should I let him eat what he likes or keep trying with the veggies, meat and cheese? Is this a phase?

go with it. definately was a phase with my dd1. sent her off to the childminder at 15mths with ham, tomatoes and cucumber for lunch, raisins and a bag of apple - every day for what seemed like months - just wouldn't touch anything else.

we turned the corner once she started following the other children and the world of variety was opened again.
