Dd is 6 months old and we're just starting her on solid foods. I've spoked to the health visitor, read various things but I'm still second guessing used so how does this sound.

Breakfast - 8oz milk and some buttered toast (not much just a few pieces of mine. Low fat butter)
12pm(ish) - 9oz milk
4pm - 8oz milk and some homemade veg purée.
She will have another bottle before bed at about 7.30.

Purées etc have been very smooth, I know she needs to start chewing on things and gradually introduce lumpy food but this is my PFB and I'm slightly terrified of choking despite knowing first aid and DH being a qualified first aider. An I giving her too much or not enough?

I would replace the low fat butter with unsalted high/normal fat butter.

I didn't use purées so not sure about that aspect.

Sorry hit send too soon.

Despite all the reading etc I'm totally bamboozled with this so any and all advice greatly appreciated.

I found it easier just to sit DD with us if we were eating and letting her take what she fancied.

We switched to baby stock cubes and stopped adding salt when cooking.
