What do you pack for lunch at nursery?

DD is 11 months and is starting nursery next week. She suffers from reflux and is a bit fussy with lumps. I'm not too sure what I should pack for her lunch.

Any ideas?! What do you pack for your DC?

What does she normally eat at home?

Can she eat sandwiches, fruit pieces, rice cakes?

Or would she need something blended like spag Bol which nurdery could heat up for you?

Do the nursery not provide meals?

LindsayS79 · 25/06/2014 22:02

She eats finger foods in small quantities. Certainly not enough to fill her up, although she managed to eat a soldier sized sandwich today!
Unfortunately the nursery don't supply main meals. I usually mash up her food for her, but wondered how common it would be for nurseries to deal with this. She's going to be the youngest there at 11 months!

I'm assuming they hae a microwave there?

Just send in a dinner and they can heat it up. They must fridges.

It's only short term, one she's more accustomed to lumps and eats a bit more then you can send in sandwiches and stuff.
