Bacon- delicious or forbidden?

I'm making a risotto for us later & wanted to make extra for DD. I was going to include bacon in it but I'm worried it's too salty for her. She's 8 months.
What do you think?

Everything in moderation is my view, so I'd use the bacon but put her portion to one side before you add any more salt/ if the recipe calls for stock use baby stock? (I still use it now because it's much tastier than 'normal' stock!)

Itll be fine. She will only probably have a small amount.

DD has bacon sometimes (she's 23 months). I wouldn't have given it to her at 8 months but that's because she only wanted milk at that age. I don't see the harm in giving something like that once in a while. Too salty for them to have regularly I think.

Was just about to ask the same as I want to batch cook some chicken pie mix and was going to include some bacon lardons. D is only 6.5mths but I figure that it's going to be made with salt free stock, and is only a very small amount of bacon spread among about 6 adult portions, so the amount she will get is hopefully minimal.
