Hi there
Just wanted a little advice on portion sizes for 7 month old. She seems to be moving from 75th percentile nearer to 91st line so wondering if I'm feeding too much. We Did have problems bf for first 3 months so wondered if I'm now forcing breastfeeds when I should be giving just solids...
Average day is as follows:
7am wake up bf
8am breakfast- half to 3/4 of a banana mashed and porridge, approx 3 tablespoons cooked- sometimes eats more banana but never finished one
9am nap
10am morning bf
1pm lunch bf
130 meal. Approx 2-3 tablespoons purée- usually a chicken or fish plus veg and potato mix, followed by yoghurt, 2-3 tablespoons plain full fat with a mashed up strawberry in or 1-2 teaspoons of pear and apricot purée.
2pm nap
4pm bf
530-6 tea, half a piece of toast with bit of butter and cream cheese (not loads) approx 1oz mild cheddar for finger food, maybe a couple of grapes or pieces of dried apricot
730 bedtime bf
2am night bf
I have tried not to drop any feeds as I've read they are still best form of nutrition, and want to give her the best nutrition but don't want to end up with weight issues. She already takes after my partner (Who is substantially built to put it politely) so don't want to make her obese.
Any advice?
Thanks
