We just started at 6 mo
How much for tasters then as we go along? How do you know how much to give?

To start I'd just give a couple of spoons to see how they go but after a few meals it is quite obvious. At 6 months they either grab the spoon themselves and spoon it in or look excited with their mouths open waiting for you to spoon another in!

I agree with toowit.

May only be the merest taste to start with, but that's totally normal Smile

I've used icecube trays to freeze wheening foods. Initially its 1 cube and one taste, then overtime building up. You can then use the stock of cubes to build more of a meal so a carb, a couple of veg and maybe a little meat or cheese when they're old enough.
