How much is your 9month old eating?

DD is 39 weeks old- she stopped having a bottle in the night at about 5.5/6months old but in the past week have started waking around 3.30am and will only settle if given 4oz of formula. I am back at work now and really dont want to start having to get up and down in the night again! especially to feed.

I am wondering if she is having a growth spurt and needs some more food in the day- she has the following-

8-830am- porridge (small bowl) and then a 6oz bottle of formula (but will only have about 4oz the most).

11am- 6oz bottle made but very rarely takes 6oz

1230- lunch- generally mashed chicken and veg/ spaghetti bolognase/fish pie etc-

2pm - 6oz bottle (which she generally drinks all of)

4.30-4.45 - rusk and banana and approx 3oz milk.

I give her a small petit filou yoghurt before bath (about 6pm) and then after a bath she will have approx 5.oz formula.

Do you think I should add in some more 'solid' food at tea time perhaps??

She is at nursery Monday to Thursday so i try to follow their schedule (which is above)

any advice?

my 9 mo is now having 3 meals a day and cake at teatime if we have it. she is currently dropping feeds and now has 4-5 a day (first thing, evening, dream feed and one or two in the day).

Id lose the rusk completely and give her at least a sandwich or something on toast at suppertime.

I will try that. Thanks for the advice

My Ds is almost 9 months and his day looks pretty similar to yours but I make lunch more snacky sandwiches, scrambled egg, hummus things like that. His main meal is at tea time ancient give similar to what you give at lunch maybe try more food at tea time? And perhaps make sure you include protein at tea until he settles back down at night.:)

Ancient? Where the hell did that come from?!! Meant to say I

oh and maybe a banana for filling up? or something with oats like a flapjack.
although we don't give fruit at night so that they don't poo first thing in the morning.
