Can anyone help me or offer any ideas at all, I'm desperate!!

DD is 26 weeks and we started weaning about 2 weeks ago. We're going down the BLW route as it's the easy option for mealtimes (DS is 2.6). Until the last couple of days her poos have still been the liquid bf poo with the odd fleck of brocolli or whatever in them. Yesterday we had proper "human" poo but only a tiny bit at a time and great sobbing accompanying each episode.

TMI Alert! - it's soft, there's no straining involved but I know when it's happened due to the crying. And since this morning she's been getting a very sore bum but it is only where the poo has made contact with her skin and obviously I've been changing her within minutes of it happening.

It doesn't help that I think she's teething again so I'm not sure what's connected with what at the moment.

Hopefully some of you will have some amazing knowledge about what I can try.

Haven't got much advice on the constipation sorry, just make sure you bf roughly an hour before food, only offer food once a day and offer water with food.

For her bum, have you tried metanium?

Thank you, I've tried metanium, bepanthum, sudacrem and all seem to work briefly!

Happily though she's had the mother of all poos this afternoon, unhappily I sniffed her them pulled the waistband of her nappy to check and managed to stick my finger in it!
