Are any of them better than others + what is the difference between a stage one and a stage two spoon. + do tell me if there's anything else I should know about weaning spoons.

Initially get some with soft tips, so they don't hurt your baby's gums if he/she tries to bite on them. My little one does that often, especially when he's teething.
There are some, which change colour if the food is too hot, but I've never bothered about them.
Some seem to be easier to shovel the food in, but I found its a case or trial and error to see what suits best.

Apparently there are some people who think they are evil!
That's all I really know about them.

I'd say stage 1 are flatter and I think possibly level 2 are more a bit cooped out iykwim.

scooped out, sorry.

I just used the stage 1 spoons from tesco which were smaller than normal spoons and easier for ds to take the food off and they worked for us

Yes, 1st spoons are narrower, shallower and softer. 2nd ones are more like a normal spoon only still plastic so not as sharp/hard as metal.

Weaning spoons are evil in Hunkermunker's mind because (I think) they are marketd as "from 4 months" when you're not meant to wean until 6.

Nooo, is it my mate Hunker who thinks they're evil, really
