I Used a variety, liked hipp and Heinz. Both very good. Always found Ella's kitchen a bit of my rip off tbh

I find it doesn't matter which ones you use for fruit, but the savoury meals can be really hit and miss, you have to choose the flavours carefully. No brand was any worse than the others though.

I also recommend stocking up when they are on offer. Asda have a baby event on atm, worth a look.

For fruit Aldi do some organic pouches at 59p each. Only two flavours available though. I bought them today as someone on my postnatal thread recommended them but haven't tried them yet.

I don't buy the meal ones but did notice they had some plum baby ones in pounds and. Might not be all branches though. Again I think a limited selection of flavours.

The ellas kitchen ones were the best, but all of them were pretty okay, just depends on what your DC will eat. My DS had lots of them, there are no prizes for slaving over a stove in the middle of the night! The next one will get them too, and maybe some off cuts of our dinner!

JRmumma · 24/04/2014 16:47

Ive tried a few and they all seem the same.DS wont eat any of them though, i think they are too watery.

Are any of them thicker?

Agree the Aldi version of Ella's Kitchen are really good, virtually the same but cheaper.

You can buy Ellas pouches in bulk from costco, they work out much cheaper that way.
