my 8 month old has been eating mainly the 4-6 month organics jars since i started weaning, but i am struggling to get her to eat lumpy food.ive tried her with home made food and 7 month+ jar food but she just gags on the lumps and ends up being sick.I'd rather not give her jars any more it was just to see if she would eat something lumpy.she will eat finger foods, such as toast, cheese etc no problem even though she has no teeth yet so i dont understand what the problem is.can anyone advise?
ps it doesnt make any difference how big or small the lumps are?!

I'd just let her have the finger food and try lumps every so often. dd had reflux and couldn't tolerate lumps until a year or so.

My ds was like that until 13 months!, he was fine with finger foods but giving him wet sloppy lumps on a spoon made him gag. Just persevere with the finger foods and keep the spoon stuff smooth for now, there's no rush, just go with your babys pace.
