Courgette puree - Do I peel them?

Just started weaning my 5 month old baby. Books say to trim and chop courgettes. By trim do they mean peel? Do i just chop in half lengthways or into chunks?

never peeled - top, tail and chop into chunks

Yes, top'ntail only, wash well before cook, and blitz to get skin into fine consistency.
