But weaning at 6 months, is it 6 calendar months or 24 weeks? I weaned my first a bit early due to reflux. TIA

Guidelines are 6 calendar months so 26 weeks. But I doubt 2 weeks makes much difference if baby is ready.

I started gently at 23 and at 24 he's really getting some down. Know it was a few weeks early, 26 is correct. I did agonise over it - the Hv didn't put me off...it was mainly because he was so keen to start himself (whinging for my food and trying to get it then super keen and excited when I let him lick some apple purée).
