22 week old BLW

My 22 week old DS1 has been enjoying mushing food in his hands for the last week, but today he started gumming the broccoli rather than just playing with it.

I was always planning on doing BLW but I didn't expect him to start so early!

He has been sitting well for 3 weeks, and has good coordination so presumably I should just let him get on with it...?

He has eczema so I thought I should probably take it slow and only introduce a couple of foods at a time.

Does that sound sensible?

It's called baby led for a reason

I had full intention of waiting til 6 months with both my girls but at 22+6 & 23+2 respectively they stole my bread / toast and started munching.

I'd say let him get on with it.

That's how my DD started. I'd say just be careful about cows milk, and egg, fish, nuts etc,

Thank you! Guess I will just go with it.

Any suggestions of good things to start offering?

I'm in exactly the same position, puréed apples and pears and a piece of toast have gone down well so far (going for a mixed approach)....
