Stopped breastfeeding 2 months ago. When will i start my period? I know it varies and that some people have a period when breastfeeding but does anyone know the average?or the earliest or latest time to have one or just when they personaly started back on theres?Does it make a difference how long you breast fed for?

Hi there. I think it really is like asking how long a piece of string is! Some of my friends gave up breastfeeding and took ages (several months)to have a period, for me it was just 6 weeks. Don't have any scientific stats on what is average though I'm afraid.

I wouldn't worry at this point unless you think there is a chance you could be pregnant!!
