Too much bread?

My LO (9.5 months) only started showing an interest in solids when we introduced bread. Last week she ate bread and allowed us to spoon feed other stuff, now she wont eat anything unless its on the bread/toast. So she is having it twice a day. Is this a problem (trying to put veg purees etc on the bread, eggy bread etc)

thanks
alice

Hi J - sorry, can't offer any advice but just wanted to let you know you're not alone! DS is 10 months and is doing much the same thing - loves his toast and bagels and not really having many veggie purees. It seems to be bread and yoghurts or fruit purees at the mo - I'm hoping its just a phase! So I'll be watching this thread intently!

try just putting dollops of fruit/veg puree in front of her... very messy, but she will probablt eat if doing so herself...

How much is she eating? Some bread has quite a lot of salt, so worth checking for that.
