Drinking extra fluids whilst weaning

DD is now 5 1/2 mths old. She has been exclusively Bf but is now part weaned and has two solids feeds a day. She loves her food and will eat any fruit, veg or baby cereal that you give her. However, she will not drink from a cup of any description although she has twice had a drink from my glass after watching me.
The problem is that for 2 days she has found it difficult to do a poo although they are still quite squidgy. Yesterday she cried and I had to hold her hand and tell her to push (poetic justice some might say!).
Any ideas to encourage her to drink more?

Is just water she won't drink, as my baby refuses water, but he will take a few sips of juice. So I try watering down the juice. The one I buy is Hipp organic, which already contains 40% water I think. I haven't tried milk in a cup yet, I always give that in the bottle, since I stopped BF.

my dd didn't drink from a cup till well after 9mths so I really wouldn't worry about it, leave a cup out for her and she will probably do it in her own time. Try some cool boiled water in a bottle (my dd did used to drink water from a bottle)
