I won't bother to be honest, but that's me

Of course you can freeze bananas - we keep all our fruits for smoothies pre-cut and frozen.

(I also batch make and freeze a yummy puree concoction for 1 yr old DS2 using bananas, sweet potato, tofu, carrots, strawberries, blueberries and yogurt. Sounds disgusting but it's actually tasty and ridiculously healthy - he loves it and it's an easy pre-made breakfast for early mornings!)

Yes, I do it all the time. Mash fruit and veggies and freeze them in ice cube trays so I have individual portions for DD. Banana works fine, it doesn't go brown or anything.

Thanks ladies. We are only just starting to introduce a bit of puree before full on weaning starts in a couple of wks. So fruit, veg, blender, masher, ice cube trays and puree pots all ready to go!
