10mnths baby won't eat!

Hello.

My daughter has been exclusively breast fed. At 5 1/2 months I introduced solids, banana mashed w/ breast milk on a spoon, and blw. She has however still not taken to them. She gags and is sick on blw (bread/oatcakes/teething biscuits are really all she will eat herself). other blw foods just get mashed into table. She refuses mum's finger/spoon/pouches.

She is well, chubby, healthy, happy.

But I am keen now she is 10mnths to get her onto some solids.

I have tried every food i can think of, and multiple suggestions... from baby rice to hummus sticks to ella's kitchen.

Is it that she is too content w/ breastmilk and can't see the point of solids?
Should I cut out feeds?

Thank you for any advice.

Could you try to introduce more flavour onto the foods that she will eat, in the hope that she might then eventually accept the veg/fruit on its own? Eg, spread some pureed fruit onto the bread/biscuits (something not too watery, like banana, dried apricot puree, cherry, blueberry etc), or even some parsnip or sweet potato as they are quite dry and spread well.

Do you have a breadmaker? Could you make bread/biscuits that include fruit/veg in the recipe so she gets a bit of a taste for it that way?

Thank you.

I have tried the spreading - not too keen as yet!
As for the bread, that's an idea... but then comes the persistent vomiting.

Anyway, am glad to have found other threads with similar stories of late eaters and/or strong gag reflexes.

Thank you for your response.
