so I weaned my son at 6 months and hes been having breakfast (weetabix/redy brek/shredded wheat all with purees) and lunch (mash&cheese/shepherds pie/veg) and the rest of the day bottles. up until few days ago he was doing great! but all of a sudden hell have a few mouthfuls then stop all together, I try and sit for like half an hour trying to getthe spoon in but he just isn't interested, hes been teething from 4 months and still no teeth dont know if this could be it..

Has he been fighting any naps in the last few days? Because sometimes if they are tired the last thing they want to do is eat. Also, do you eat with him? Just as encouragement Smile

Please dont panic about this though, kids of all ages go through phases of not eating as much. Sometimes my dd will go right off food no matter what it is but then be keen on it again.

It's more important the amount they consume over a week than per day.

Have you thought about taking a bottle away or cutting it down in volume just to see if that makes a difference? Don't forget nothing is set in stone, you can always put it back if needed.
