Reaction to cow's milk or my imagination?!

Dd is 7.5 months. A couple of weeks ago I started giving her a yoghurt after lunch (baby Yeo if it makes a difference!). SHE has always had reflux, but her vomit after yoghurt was rancid, and her (wet) nappies smelt strongly of stale urine, like she hadn't been washed or wiped for a week. As there was no real reason to give her yoghurt, other than variety, I stopped.

Today I gave her a Philadelphia cheese sandwich for lunch, and the nappy smell is back, bug not as strong as after yoghurt. I often mix grated cheese in with mash/veg for protein which doesn't cause any ill effects, but I don't suppose it us in the same quantities. She has ready brek in the morning, but I make it with whatever formula is left from her morning bottle.

Is the smell a sign her body is getting used to milk, or that I should leave it a bit longer before introducing it to her?

Is she on regular formula? How is she with that?

Yes - she's on stage 1 Aptimil. She is sick generally after her first bottle of the day because it's hard to keep her still for long enough to let it settle, but the others precede naps so she's fine after those

If she's fine with formula, it seems unlikely that she has a problem with cows milk, especially as she eats cheese but have a read of this and see what you think Smile

Thanks! I've had a quick look and I don't think it's an allergy - will take a closer look later. I think it's either coincidence or just her getting used to it. Thanks again!
