Purée , freezing and storage

I was not thinking and have defrosted chicken made a purée am I right to assume that I can't now freeze that ? If I can't freeze it how long can I keeping fridge?

Yes, you can refreeze it. Basically if you take something out the freezer you have to change it's 'state' if you want to put it back in the freezer. So I think it would be a bit dodgy if you took cooked chicken out, made a pie with it and then froze it again.

if it was raw when you froze it then it is ok to cook it and then freeze it again. it can be frozen once in its raw state and then again in its cooked state
