freezing mash

how long can mash keep in the freezer for? im getting told 6 month, 3 month and 1 month!?

I usually keep for a month but think it might be longer so marking place

the longer it is frozen the more the quality will deteriorate e.g might be more grainy. It is not a safety issue but a quality one
