Hi all any advice would be great. Started weaning my baby at 17 weeks, under advice. Has responded well to food and is very contented. Now he is 23 weeks have started to increase amount of food very slightly, due to this he has started to take less milk during mid morning. He used to have 6 oz at 10.00 but struggled so have dropped from 5 feeds to 4 feeds of 7oz which he seems happy with. Just wanted other mums to confirm they had similar situation ect.

This is his general day
Wake 7am 7oz bottle
Breakfast 8.30/9am homemade fruit purée
11.00am 7oz bottle
Lunch 12.30/13.00 homemade veg purée
15.00 7ozbottle
19.09 7oz bottle

I know milk is his main source of nutrients.

I will be introducing protein and fish into his diet after 26 weeks

Thanks xx

My LO is 8months old and takes around 20oz over the course of the day, but I've followed his lead when it comes to dropping feeds. I think that sounds about right, but follow ur lo's lead. They should still be having 500-600ml up until they are 1. As long as ur LO gets at least that, and u follow their lead, I wouldn't worry. They'll let u know if they r hungry.

The 600 ml a day is for 6 to 12 month olds. For a younger baby I think you go off their weight.
