Weaning milk feeds from bottle to cup

Hi. My 8mo son happily drinks water from a cup (I just use an open cup and hold it as he got really frustrated with the slow flow of a sippy cup).

I haven't tried doing any of the milk feeds from a cup yet - would you do it gradually just giving a few sips of milk from a cup, then the rest of the feed from their bottle, or do you start by designating one feed a day being in a cup?

Thanks

I started with the feeds he was least interested in. However i was weaning from breast to cup. So in my case i noticed he was least interested in mid morning feed so i offered a cup then and didn't worry if he didn't drink a lot. The next one was the mid afternoon feed, he used to drink quite a bit so i offered cup of milk plus solid snack. Still had boob first and last thing, and bottle from daddy if he woke for milk before 6am. I think most people would keep the bedtime feed in a bottle till last. We were 100% cups at 14 months, started the process at 11 months.

Thanks - that sounds logical. Think I might try that with his 4pm bottle tomorrow - doesn't seem too bothered about that one as he knows dinner will be along soon!
