8 month old becoming disinterested in food

She has started spitting nearly everything out. If I spoon feed her mashed or purée 2 thirds will come out, if she has finger foods just about 100% will be spat out, this is after weeks of eating really well.

Could it be her teeth? The bottom two came through a couple of weeks ago but I can't feel any more yet.

It's a little frustrating as she was doing so well and this past week even her favorite porridge is being spat out and I'm going back to work next week. Grrrrr!

My baby went through a stage of doing that too, very frustrating when you spend time and money making nice food for them! However it normally is just a phase...just like everything they go through! When my son was like that I tried my best to persevere and if he really didn't want it I just resorted to marmite on toast and upped his milk just to get him through that phase. I think at that stage they feel they want to feed themselves! And of course it could be teething, anbusol liquid is amazing, try putting that on before mealtimes.

My son finally got back on track after about a week of fussiness and now at 11 months he's back on to spitting nearly every mouthful out!!
Good luck!
