sippy cup

my LO will be 6 month old tomorrow and from 4 months ive been trying to get him to drink from his sippy cup, its a tommee tippee first stage sippy cup from 4+ month but every time he has a sip, he screws his face because it comes out quite fast. has anyone got any helpful tips on how they weaned their LO onto a cup from bottle?

Don't worry. Just keep giving it to him every meal time and he'll get it. DD was given the tommee tippee first cup (the free flow one, which is the one I think you got) from 6mo. Took her till 10mo to actually drink large amounts from it. For months, she just played with it, looked at it, chewed on it, etc. A year on, you'll look back and wondered why you worry!

yeah, think il keep giving him it even if theres just a little water in and he can play with it or whatever he wants so at least he's getting more familiar with it!
